Bake With Your Hands to Create Small Batches
We believe baking without automation adds to the natural process that makes our bars so special.  Our energy bars are made in our home kitchen, which has been certified by the Vermont Department of Health.  We produce small batches of 28 bars, enabling us to use the freshest of ingredients, such as freshly grated orange zest in our cranberry orange bar, Vermont Maple Syrup  in our maple walnut bar, and organic peanut butter in our peanut butter chocolate chip bar.  Each batch is cut, packaged,and labeled by hand.

Support the Local Community
Believing from the beginning how important it is to be a socially responsible business, during 2007 alone  we have donated to such organizations as The Sam Cohn Foundation, The Jarred Williams Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House, and Peak for Pam Paradee, just to name a few. 

Source Local, Natural Ingredients
We use local ingredients from local vendors whenever possible.  Our maple syrup is from a syrup producer in Williston, VT, and we buy a great deal of our bulk ingredients from the Vermont Green Grocer, located in our small town of Richmond, VT.
