Eddie's Extra's

Reel in Energy Bars for Father's Day, [NAME]!

Summer is right around the corner, and that means Eddie's Energy Bars is going to be expanding.  If you would like to expand your pile of energy bars, head on over to www.eddiesenergy.com to replenish your source of all natural, homemade Vermont energy, and it will arrive on your doorstep shortly thereafter, just in time for you to get outside and enjoy the beautiful sunny and warm weather that is coming our way.

The ovens are constantly on pre-heat now over at the Eddie's household, preparing for our summer expansion into more
stores and golf courses.  Do you know of a store that should carry Eddie's Energy Bars or an event that you think Eddie's would be a great addition to?  Let us know by giving us a holler!

Before you head outside to get the first tan of the year (you can't tan in Vermont until July, actually), check out all the cool happenings with Eddie's Energy Bars below, and pick up a dozen bars for your next outdoor excursion with dad.  Father's Day is coming up on June 17th.  I'm sure he will be pleasantly surprised to see a handmade treat from the Green Mountain State.

Have a great start to summer,

Michael Adams, Owner
Eddie's Energy Bars

Eddie's Energy Bars® Partners with Symbiot Design
In the beginning of May, Eddie’s Energy Bars was contacted by the owner of Symbiot Design, a company revolutionizing the modern day backpack.  They were interested in partnering with EEB, and we were quick to jump to it, sending them energy bars in exchange for one of their great bags.  You can read Symbiot's review of our bars, and EEB's review of Symbiot's bag.  We think this is the start of a great partnership between two budding companies.  Stay tuned to watch how this develops.

Quick Tips on Starting an Exercise Plan
As we all know, it is very hard to stick to an exercise plan, let alone even start one.  Here are a couple of tips to starting, and maintaining an exercise program:
Set Goals: To stay motivated, set a long-term goal for yourself, and do everything you can to reach it.  A goal might be to lose fifteen pounds by a set date, or run a 5K race by the end of the summer.
Get Out and Walk: Recently, walking has been suggested to be the go-to exercise if you are going to start an exercise plan.  This is because everyone walks, and it supports your entire body weight, while burning the most calories per unit time.  Want to track how far you have walked?  Grab a pedometer at your local sporting goods store.
Schedule Time In: As America gets busier and busier, the time to exercise is hard to come by, however, everyone has time to exercise atleast three times a week.  Schedule your walk, run, or bike in and make sure you don't blow it off, and schedule something else.  Making a schedule makes you focused and more determined to reach your goals.
